Took Zeke to the Houston Zoo this weekend. I was angling for the Natural History Museum, because of the new exhibits (it’s also indoors - always a plus in Houston), but the zoo was great. Zeke was pretty attentive early on, although he was more interested in people watching than animal watching (and who can blame him, he does come from a long line of people watchers); however, he was done about half way through the zoo.
Houston Museum of Natural Science has a new Hall of Paleontology. Above are some of the new exhibits they will have on display. And here is a list of some of the new specimens. I haven’t been to the Houston Museum of Natural Science in at least 10 years, so maybe now is a good time to go back and check it out.
