Let the General Election Begin!
The re-election campaign of President Obama is already looking at ad rates (Sources: CNN, New York Times). According to sources, the campaign is looking into ads in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.
Of these states, 8 are states that Bush won in 2004 and Obama won in 2008 (Colorado, Florida, Iowa, New Mexico, N. Carolina, Nevada, Ohio and Virginia). Obama won 12 of these states in 2008. The only state he did not win that year was Arizona, which the Democrats are hoping to put in play this year (Hispanic voters).
